Advanced Tremor Workshop with Mary Shriver

Want to deepen your embodied and theoretical understanding of the therapeutic tremor? Now that you have more experience and capacity, let’s have some fun learning. This 90-minute session will open with a facilitated tremor practice and through lecture and discussion, we will co-discover the tremor’s abilities in building resilience, trauma healing, and physical rehabilitation As always, we will lead with curiosity and playfulness.

In this workshop we will address emergent topics based on participants’ interests and questions, including:

• Exploring methods for moving your therapeutic tremor to new places in your body.
• Distinguishing between different types of organic movements, including vibratory and trauma completion movements and myofascial unwinding.
• Examining the role of the tremor in phase two trauma healing.

• Learning more about fascia and its role in the tremor and healing.
