Kat Hobbs, MA

I work 1:1 with people and with organisations, supporting them to explore and repattern their stress responses to build a more just, liberated existence in line with their values. I work as an organiser, conflict mediator and somatic trauma resilience practitioner and have over 20 years experience in social movements. As well as the Resilience Toolkit, I am an IFS-informed practitioner and use techniques adapted from Internal Family Systems (IFS), often known as ‘parts work’, alongside creative arts tools like intuitive drawing to help people build awareness and insight into their inner world. In my role as a campaigner, I work for the Network for Police Monitoring (NETPOL) and volunteer in frontline community legal support. I also work on conflict transformation with Navigate Cooperative and am an associate trainer with Rad HR, working with groups on developing internal policy and systems that promote anti-oppressive practices in the workplace.
